EDIT: 9 times, including the two encounters in the Labyrinth. 6 times? The Peerless drones, an encounter in the Changing God's workshop, killing Rhin's former master, the thing in that bar with the psionic entity, two fights against Endless Gate cultists in the Valley of Dead Heroes, and the thing in Miel Avast. I've gotten that Castoff all the way to the Bloom, and only needed to fight. Make thousands of essential choices, face. ![]() My current playthrough, which I'm thinking of scrapping and starting over because I've already missed so much, is a Graceful Nano with a Silver Tongue. Discover the Ninth World built on the bones of extinct, hyper-advanced civilizations and leave your own mark on it. Explore the Nano class - the manipulators of technology and minds in Torment:Tides of Numenera. The new science-fantasy epic is coming to Xbox One and PlaySta. Tell me what you think when you learn your former name. Ironically, the lack of a Game Over led me to be more cautious as I know the world has evolved, even if just by a tiny bit, as a result of my failures. From what I understand, a well-built Jack can coast through the game without fighting at all, but I worry I might miss some sort of Nano-exclusive dialogue or something, since Jacks presumably can't "cast spells" like a Nano can, and Nanos CAN do charisma pretty well due to their high Intellect, right? There's more than one of those easter eggs in there. It’s rare that a game allows me to use my failures within itself to build a unique narrative, and that in itself allowed me to approach Torment: Tides of Numenara from a new light. I wasn’t event afraid that Tides of Numenera won’t be able to live up to its great predecessor Planescape: Torment.OK, that was the case too, but I was more worried about something different that the last creation from inXile Entertainment studios will turn out to be too complicated a game. ![]() I'm debating whether to play a Jack or a Nano. I must admit that I was waiting for the new Torment with fear.
